Richards Beach, Cromwell

Fifteen members of the Wanaka Walkers parked at Old Cromwell Town, and walked from there downstream to Bannockburn.  We thought it was going to be hot, but no, there was such a strong cold wind!  We were pleased that we took out jackets with us.  However, it was still a lovely walk through the pine trees, (extra 1) and by interesting scenery. (extra 2)  I walked just over 11K steps, or just over 7 K's.  We stopped for a welcome cuppa at a cafe on the way home.  Another super walk with great friends.
