The embrace

Sorry to frighten all the arachnophobes but with this cold I am not getting out much. I have this little shrub in the garden which at this time of year has very heavily laden pollen on it's yellow flowers. It is a haven for insects and flies in particular seem to like it. This little spider was sat atop the flowers and within a couple of hours had caught this fly. You can see the pollen on the fly and the spider. Well it didn't like me getting too close but there was no way it was letting go of the fly. I think that would be the shopping for the winter done.
