Grumpy Elf Thing

We went to Harry Potter studios today. Mrs B is big fan of the Potter.
I could take it or leave it really.

Once they finished filming it, some bright spark at Warner Bros realised they could charge people £30 a ticket to walk round an air-hanger in the middle of the country-side for a couple of hours and look at the sets and props.

If you were a fan of the films you would love it. It is quite impressive. Although the costumes are placed on faceless mannequins which are little un-nerving. Everything is done to immense detail. The most impressive part is the huge model of Hogwarts. Which takes up an entire room.
Also drank some butter-beer. It's a kind of like an ice-cream float.

Oh and there is an extensive shop at the end. Want a replica Dumbeldore outfit? £500 please.

Other Adventures
While Mrs B was excited to spend the morning in Harry Potter world, she was less impressed when I made her stand in Leicester Square while I queued up to get my picture taken inside a banana.

There's always money in the banana stand!

Also had an epic adventure trying to get home because a tree fell on the tracks. Got shipped to Staines with the promise of buses to take us to our destination. There were no buses. The TFL worker locked herself in her booth to avoid the ensuing outrage.
