Snowdrops at St. Tysilios Church

This morning I got Faway from working on his kitchen and we went for a walk at Llangollen.

We went to St Tysilio's Church at Llantysilio where there is always a beautiful carpet of snowdrops at this time of year and believed to have been there from the thirteenth century.  Friends of ours were married in that little church nearly 60 years ago.

We then walked along the canal from the Horseshoe Falls befor crossing the river and coming back a different way.

There were a pair of goldcrests in a tree by the canal but they moved too quickly for me to get a decent photo.
