Organic

We get an organic veg box from a local grower and in it this week was this beautiful stiff kale top (I think) Such beautiful colours BUT there I was about to take a photo and pop it into the fridge when I realised it was hopping with whitefly!!!  Nightmare! I have only just managed to get my overwintering geraniums free of white fly and now I have them reintroduced!  I gave the kale a good wash under fast flowing water then dunked it for  a while.. took it out and shook it only to find the whitefly rewappearing and shaking off the water before flying off ... arghghgh!!
Anyway it is pretty and will be washed again thoroughly before cooking it up!
