Mono Monday- Rough/Smooth

The suggested theme for today's mono challenge is Rough and/or Smooth.
This is a shot of the gravel path underneath the front bay window.   Individual pieces of the gravel may be smooth but put together they produce a rough surface.

A bit of excitement this morning.  We have two nest boxes on the back wall of the house.  One has been there for many years and Blue Tits use it every year.  The new one (about three years old) has never been of interest, however today there were two pairs of Blue Tits  both inspecting the boxes and seem to have decided which pair will have which box.  So hopefully some photographs to come.
