Tradition

Today we headed to the Masaya region, visiting some of the Pueblos Blancos named after their Moorish counterpart in Spain.

In San Juan de Oriente we visited a pottery school that is dedicated to keep and preserve the unique techniques used by the indigenous people, who were part of the Nahua tribe.

I really like clay, I miss the time experimenting with it.
I now use flour instead! Primeval.

It is a wonderful medium to discover our ancestral creative history.

Here some of their work
