Gold Plated

Another day of errands, taking the least played CDs and my childhood stamp collection to the Oxfam shop in Stratford, where they will hopefully do some good. Also had to return the thermostat I was intending to fit to one of our shower mixers as the old one is corroded in and we've decided to go for more of a refurb and have a plumber fit a whole new unit.  and ... paid the car's VED tax.

These SMA connectors are from my blip box,  across the hexagonal part is about 8mm.  Focus stacked to get reasonable sharpness.
I bought them for the WiFi in the motorhome as this type of connector is used for the antenna feed. The gold plating is just to avoid corrosion and maintain a good connection.

Tomorrow we're off early, to Ledbury to see James and Ariadne in a school musical presentation.  Probably a walk on the Malverns or at Croome to make a day of it.

Thanks to everyone who called by yesterday and enjoyed my Wide Wednesday up-river blip.
