Basketball at Last!

And the last game it was!….we just went, the only 2 in the gym with masks on, to watch Oskar’s team play a private school team they probably couldn’t beat.   Very Big kids. Oskar looked small trying to guard a 6”10 hulk.  Since they lost the thursday metro tournament game to another private school by 1 point,  this was loser out.
1 minute left to play,( they’re 30 behind), this is Oskar’s last 3 pointer of his high school career so it has to be the blip.   He’s had a great season.  And he’s especially  happy because he was chosen by a former Garfield player (on his Dad’s 1987 team) turned coach and now scout, as one of the 3rd all metro team members (Not official but it’s cool anyway)    Oskar will be the first to report that Seattle has great basketball, sending the most players to the NBA.  And he will get to play more…just not for high school.
We were happy to let ourselves OUT of isolation for this!  Very fun.
And NIk's team will be on tv tonight.
