Mama Stone curlew.

I have to admit I took this the other day.

But when I went back to the supermarket car park today, the birds have gone.

Maybe their eggs didn't hatch, and they've gone of their own accord.

They were cordoned off and a sign saying they are a protected species.  So, I doubt anyone would move them.
