Redressing the balance

I was listening to a discussion on the radio today and they were discussing how we only show the good bits on social media.  So to start to make up for the allotment successes that I have posted, here is one of my failures.

I love trying to germinate any seeds I come across, so when I had some yummy dates a few weeks ago, I had to try to germinate the stones.  I remembered to check them today (they have been in the boiler cupboard - warmest place in the house) and all they have grown is some rather interesting fungi.  So they were consigned to the food waste bin.
