East of South Rim Grand Canyon

On my second day I drove over 30 miles to look for different views of the Grand Canyon. This image shows the Colorado River - the architect for the erosion that makes the Grand Canyon what it is, over half a dozen million years later.

Not a typical GC image as it takes some travel away from the Visitor Center where most people don't hang out.
