Old Loans cottages

These charming old cottages on Main Street are shown clearly on an 1857 map but are probably at least 200 years old. You can still see the original stone wall plate on the middle pair. Originally single storey, with thatched roofs, they have since been extended upwards and outwards and recently re-slated.
