Life through the lens...

Pretty in Pink.

A beautiful blue sky day, although a very old breeze and temp only 7C.

A visit to Pinderfields Hospital this morning for MrC to have his eye injection.
He isn’t feeling too good at the moment as his eye is very bloodshot and a bit painful. Having a nod after taking a pain killer. I’m sure he will be much better tomorrow morning. Usually he is fine, but just occasionally this happens.

However a visit to see our granddaughter Jennie, who is home for the a few days cheered him up. Also good to see Hannah and our DIL.
It is her birthday today, and she is going out with her sister and mum to a Spa this evening. I’m sure they will have a very relaxing time.
Happy 22nd Birthday Jennie.

The gorgeous camellia was photographed in our son’s garden. Always out early, and covered in buds. Very neglected but it thrives in this sunny corner between the house and the hedge. I have tried growing them but with no success as they are one of my favourite spring flowering shrubs.
