Embrace yourself in the last month of autumn, enjoy the vibrant colours as raindrops surround you, feel the light breeze and the coolness in the air and smell the drift of smoke from fires nearby. A drop splats onto your head, then another on your glasses, some slide down your face and then there's the one which manages to slide down your back. You shudder and attempt to wipe them away but the rain is falling hard now, your hair is dripping wet, your face is feeling cold and your nose is bright red, you give a gentle sniff as you fumble for a hanky. Hubby looks out and shakes his head in disbelief, guess its time to head inside, pick up a book, hug the fire and view the shades of autumn from the comforts of indoors.

Its all about the colour for me today, they come 'alive' in the rain.
