Day 10: Refreshing

Vacation: Day 8

Ever though we are not flying home today we had to check out of our vacation condo this morning. We will be driving back to St. Louis and will fly home tomorrow.

There was no real rush to get back to St. Louis so we decided to go back to Branson and look for something to take home with us. I got a keychain and t-shirt.

After that we said "goodbye" to Branson and headed toward St. Louis. After checking into our hotel (we got an upgrade to a two-bedroom suite!) we drove to the St. Louis Gateway Arch. What an incredible feat of engineering!

And then it was off the KFC for some dinner and a refreshing root beer! If I had known what the next day was going to bring I would have opted for something much, much stronger!! Some good Scotch whiskey, perhaps!
