Celebrating Women

When I met artist Sheila this afternoon in the GOSSIP Thistle gallery she was deep in discussion with a middle-aged man who was extolling the virtues of draughtsmanship over abstract art.
 
She had a challenging time trying to convince him of the validity of abstract art but at least it got him thinking.
 
Today is International Women’s Day and the theme is #Embrace Equity.
Now I must confess I had never heard this phrase before and I had to Google it.
