Snow!

This morning, my phone said it was snowing. I pooh-poohed it and looked out the window. Looking really hard, I saw three flakes.

Later, there was sleet/snow/hail.

Later still, there was actual proper snow. The ground was far too wet for the snow to lie, but in the evening, it started to lie on the drier parts.

This is our equivalent of the rest of the country being blizzarded for a week.

Normally, I’d want it to keep snowing, but Henry wanted a service, so I’m taking him in tomorrow. I don’t like driving in the snow.

Despite the A10 rumbling in the distance and the lightness of the snowfall, the air was blanket-still.
