Repair and repaint

The Orchard Bar on Howard Street.  Talked to the craftsman doing the work; he pointed out that this trim is wood, probably Douglas Fir by the grain; around the corner the exact same shape is made in sandstone (and has been painted over).

Walked to Warriston cemetery, by the back entrance then out by Goldenacre. Frost in the ground in places. Bright sunshine, cold wind from the East.
