To infinity

Mr C and I took a break from the “putting our house back together” project to meet friends in Woolwich’s Royal Arsenal for Sunday lunch. We had a great time and good to be a little sociable after many months of being buried in our house (felt like literally sometimes!)

After lunch we wandered in the cold along the Thames to walk back to north London, under the Thames and through the Woolwich foot tunnel. A first for me. I couldn’t quite believe how straight it is. I’ve walked the Greenwich foot tunnel a few times but that has bends in it, which I believe was a design feature to stop horses from bolting in the olden days.

I caught up on a little personal admin in the evening.. a good day
