Now, as I see it......

On the beach

W and I had a walk this morning at the RSPB Reserve at Titchwell with Bom and GracieG.  Lots of birds to be seen including a large flock of Golden Plovers, Brent Geese, Lapwings and a pair of Spoonbills, sadly a bit too far away to see in great detail even through binoculars.  The reserve ends at a glorious, wide sandy beach which we walked along near Oystercatchers and Sandpipers and on the return came across this, one of two rusting hulks.  They look as though they were the remains of two wartime tanks; this one still has a rusting gearbox at this end and both have the shape at the sides that look like they would have had caterpillar tracks.

A good walk finished off with a perfectly acceptable Cornish Pasty in the cafe.

EDIT:  Gracie has done some research and gone into a lot more detail about the tanks on her blip.
