Playing hard to get ?

This pair, or potential pair, of Blackbirds arrived on the lawn together but steadfastly refused to feed on the same patch of grass or even in close proximity. Despite the grim weather for most of the day, a Goldcrest was seen inspecting the roses during a heavy shower and later a pair of Bullfinches visited the feeders, but refused to pose. Another day for "indoor" duties, firstly trying to restore order in the greenhouse and later re-organising the contents of the freezer.
