Rowing Boats 'before & after'

Have mentioned a few times the ongoing project, that the Edinburgh Union Canal Society is working on, to try and reintroduce (after a break of several years) 'rowing boat hire'  on the Union Canal later this Spring ...

... well; we now have two of the boats reasonably prepped, and applied a marine-standard, primer-undercoat to them both, earlier this afternoon: the picture above shows a 'before & after' snapshot :-)

Top-coats will now be applied over the coming few weeks. And we've actually got a bit of an informal 'social event', when the final plans for boat-hire will be revealed, all coming up very soon (on the evening of Monday 27th March) - full details are available here ...

... anyone interested in attending would be most welcome to come along ... there's even a bar available - how can you resist!?
