And so the 2023 season begins...

I have started moth trapping again! 
Not a bad start either as I had 13 moths of 5 species the highlight of which was this beautiful Satellite moth so named because of the two little 'satellite' pale dots beside the main pale dots on the wings. 
The Satellite can be found at any time during the winter as the moth overwinters as an adult.
