Not a Movie Set
We've driven past this old home on CRR several times, and have yet to understand fully what's going on. They seem to be dismantling it very carefully. It's obvious a new foundation has been dug and built behind it. (Sorry for the windshield glare). Perhaps the old wood will be reused when the home is rebuilt. It's in a historic town that has very strict building codes. Perhaps part of the original facade had to be kept to keep the village happy.
Today a symposium was held for volunteers at North Chagrin nature center. It was heavily attended. Naturalists Kelsey, Melissa, and Nicole gave fascinating presentations about fungi, frogs, and bats, respectively. It's safe to say we all learned quite a bit. Naturalist Marty took us outside to a vernal pool to look for amphibian eggs. In the extra you can see him wading in, and the wood frog eggs he found.
