Shrewsbury

Today our hosts drove us up to Shrewsbury for a tour of the town and lunch.  I've been once before but many years ago and didn't remember any of what we saw.  A very nice town with some lovely old buildings, only slightly spoiled in a couple of places by some 1970's monstrosities.

I've added an extra for ApolloFly who is, I know, a connoisseur of post boxes.  This is an 'Edward VII' box which must, I think, be pretty unusual.  I certainly don't remember seeing one before.
