Blue Mountains Ash (Eucalyptus Oreades)

The challenge for photo group this week is 'Trees', so when I saw the heavy mist I headed out looking for a stand of these beauties.
Beautiful, smooth, white or yellow bark, and gorgeous 'skirts' of bark.
They grow 30 to 40 metres tall.
And they take my breath away.  Especially in the mist.

Sitting back looking at election results.
Even at this early stage, it's looking like a labor win.
