Demolition. Lumix M4/3 14mm

I'm now working on the main section of the harpsichord conversion project.  This is by far the most challenging because a lot of the original structure has to be removed while preserving the outline.  All the casework was glued together nineteen years ago with hide glue which is hard and brittle when it cures.  A sharp blow from mallet to chisel could shatter a joint which must remain intact.  The only way to remove those curved braces is with a saw and a course rasp, followed by paring with a razor-sharp chisel, and scraper.  But I've tried all sorts of different techniques - the plethora of different tools bearing witness - before arriving at this preferred method.  The last curved knee is awaiting the attention of a new Japanese saw which can reach in from above.  Because these saws cut on the pull stroke, they require a very light touch to do their job with great accuracy, and avoid collateral damage to surrounding wood.  I'll be pleased when this chapter is complete...
