Our resident dog walker

A fellow resident D can be seen walking dogs in the morning and afternoon and none are his. He is presently walking four dogs for residents who are getting too frail to walk their dogs or are temporarily out of action due to illness. D walked my two for a few days after my last eye operation. The black dog is well behaved Chelsea and the other dog is Holly who is only six months old and is still learning how to behave during walks.

It started by helping out one resident, then the word spread and he is now referred to as ‘the dog walker’. D and his wife usually have cats however the two elderly ones have recently passed away but they still have a recently acquired four year old cat. Part of their yard is netted in and so the cat can roam the yard without escaping.

Enough rain today to water the gardens. There was a moment today when I needed to put on a jacket as I felt a bit cold. Wonderful! Autumn is here.
