Say It With Flowers

A day that sadly didn’t go to plan.

Mrs S arrived home last night feeling unwell and felt worse as the night wore on. This morning determined to complete her last shift I drove her to Treliske, via the well known motoring store that today fixed the indicator, dropping her off with “call me if you get worse” the last thing we said. Sure enough three hours later I was back, arriving home Mrs S changed and climbed straight into bed and by midnight had been asleep for nearly nine and a half hours.

I unwrapped her farewell bouquets, trimmed the leaves, shortened and crushed the stems and got them into vases. These come accompanied by cards containing very touching messages, there are other gifts for Mrs S to open when she feels up to it.
Great to be appreciated.

Paddy and I went for our walk, once again in the rain, but it felt warm out of the wind so we walked a bit further than normal to make up for yesterday.

Looking forward to some good weather so as to get into the shed, sort some things out and finish off some projects already started.
