Bell tower

We had a trip into Chichester this afternoon and a walk round the cathedral area.  This is the cathedral bell tower which dates back to the 1400's.  It's unusual because it stands separately from the cathedral.  It stands 107 feet high and is 43 feet square at the base.  The walls are over 8 feet thick!

Extras:  St. Richard surrounded by scaffolding.
Entrance to the Prebendal School.
