Helping Hands

All drama and rescue this morning as I heard a thud into the window.

Peering out I saw this tiny little chiffchaff on the floor, on it's back with it's eyes closed!
It did look a bit of a dire situation but the majority of times when we've picked the invalids up, righted them and snuggled them in the palms of our hands it seems to help eventually. Off the floor away from predators, which we have an abundance of, at least they get a fighting chance.

It did take a while but eventually after being put onto the birdtable it took stock of it's surroundings and flew off into the drizzle! How cool is that - very chuffed with the Chiff! Look at that massive cuteness factor so very sweet!
