Best laid plans

Plenty of activities on the timetable for today: dog walk, helping out at Kirkwall GC, Danish oiling the garden bench, doing the ironing, golf locally this evening. 

Hah! I did most of the first activity, then misstepped (slippy wellies + last night's rain = well, slippage). So I have been confined to a sofa, leg up, knee iced, forced to watch a miserable rugby league match where Our Team lost conclusively and himself was unhappy (I'm really not so invested!), done some sewing, now reading ...

All sounds idyllic but I am rather frustrated. Too much to sort before we go away and a gammy, sprained knee is the last thing I need :-( *sigh*
