Shelter from the storm

A wild wild day with torrential rain, hail and high winds. There was a very brief window at around 4pm wen a bit of blue sky scudded along. I decided to risk a walk, unfortunately the window was a lot shorter than my walk and I got hammered. I took shelter in an old shed and found a nice window and a - I'm not sure what but feel I should - a shoe anvil? A boot scraper? 
It is now lashing again and there are gales forecast so will post this in case the power goes out.
