Carpenter bee

The bees really are buzzing. There are a lot in our backyard because our neighbor's trees are full of flowers.

I was surprised I was able to focus on this bee. What a difficult shot with my 60D. I wonder if a mirrorless camera would be better at it. I am thinking about what I could do with mirrorless if I have to make the switch. I am going to try to get my 5D MkII repaired, but I have to make an appointment at a camera store first.
