One blade of grass...

....revealed these two sparkles after a wee frost this morning. The lawn was a mass of twinkles. Hope you like green, I have desaturated it some, and it's still a green overkill but then, that's the colour of the lawn.

Glorious morning, Doug and I took to pedal power, grabbed some water and packet of Gingernuts (simple pleasures). We biked down to the wetlands and along the beach. The sea was an incredible colour, lots of birds enjoying the water and sunshine in the wetlands. We never saw another living soul - it was all ours.

Pottered this afternoon, then made a big pot of minestrone soup...smells divine. That Friday night tea sorted, followed by Pear Upside Down pudding left over from last nights dinner.

Fire cranking, sun has disappeared but I notice there is a full moon rising. Another frost tonight :)

Big rugby game tonight...OUR Crusaders v their (as in North Island) Chiefs.
Have a great weekend :)
