Here there and everywhere

Had a good sleep. We are on the top floor of the Hotel which is great as I have a thing about people above me. Yes, that’s seems odd but it’s a thing.

Met the gang at breakfast then we took off ourselves as they wanted a Hop on hop off bus. We walked down the river past the Eye over Westminster bridge down the other side of the river and up to Traf Square and into a wee place we went for coffee in 2014. Still as good. But their elec went off so we ended up getting a reduced amount of our bill as we just had a tenner , a Scottish one at that but they were fine they didn’t look at it as if it was Monopoly money!

We walked up the Buck house way and there was a guard change. My main thing About a parade are the horses, always the horses who are always magnificent.

We decided to have a trip to Shoreditch to see the street art. Ohhhh it was magnificent. Even came across two guys finishing off their artwork under the railway tunnel so I had a chat with them to find out their story. One of them does murals etc in peoples homes, he was the one with the panda. The other guy said that their art may be covered over by tomorrow which was sad but he shrugged his shoulders and said that was just the way of it.

We had a table booked at a Portuguese restaurant near the hotel so headed back, a wee freshen up and a rest and met the gang and wandered the short distance to the place. It was very tasty! Meal courtesy of mum and Hannah our server was a lovely attentive waitress, Helping us with portion sizes etc.

We were exhausted by 9, we lay in the bed and just managed to stay awake to see Race the World and then the lights were off and sleeping by 10:15. This is what walking 24,500 steps does to an OAP!
