A rainbow lorikeet

A rainbow lorikeet is a species of parrot found in Australia. I see them often but they are too high in trees to get a good shot with my iPad or mobile. I was visiting friends today and was pleased to see a couple on low bushes. 

More rain today but light and sporadic. I bought lots of white pebbles to dress up my back garden. A little gardening bleeding to lots of wet soil and dirty clothes. All now washed.
