Speckled Wood Butterfly

.......... I’d like to say that I’m improving - but I can’t, it would be a lie :-((

But I did manage to drag myself outside with the camera to sit in the sun for a little while, which felt nice.
This little fella was very obliging and sat on a plant right near to where I was sitting, which was just as well because I didn’t possess the energy to get up and chase it. Another view in extras as I couldn’t decide which one to post - I finally decided on this shot because it showed off the amazing colours of the hairs on the butterfly’s back.
