They Came Up Behind Her

This morning we travelled to our last stop Manuel Antonio. It was a rather crazy 4 hour drive starting with some really windy roads down from Monteverde.

Our hotel rooms are amazing, like little bungalows on the side of the hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean over the jungle.

We decided to have a lazy afternoon by the pool and as I went to the bar for drinks and was chatting to the bartender, this family of squirrel monkeys came up behind her playing in the trees.

As we wandered around the hotel grounds we saw agoutis, iguanas, capuchin monkeys, a sloth and a strange ferret type creature called a grison, probably more wildlife than we had seen the whole time we were Monteverde.

We had the most amazing sunset, not quite over the ocean but still stunning.
