Spotted this Woodpecker on the lilac tree this morning so quickly grabbed the camera before he flew away.  

Dealt with elderly neighbour's two ponies this morning and again tonight after a two week break.  Gave them a good brush and got lots of hair out.  Hope the birds make use of it.   She was recently in hospital for two weeks and now home and not good, so sad to see her like that.  

There was a police presence on the marsh last night and the parking area was cordoned off.  Found out today that a body had been found.  How sad.
