Songbirds and Ear Worms

The weather forecast was good, so a walk was in order. Kingswear was dressed for the Coronation, with a myriad of flags, but these apartments have always been painted in these colours. We crossed the river on the ferry to Dartmouth, and did a favourite walk to the castle and Little Dartmouth. ( view in extra) Birds of the day were the white throats, blackcaps, and skylarks. We’ve been enjoying some documentaries about the Beegees, realising they wrote so many good songs, so the birds were competing with a mash up of Beegees ear worms, particularly ‘In the morning of my life’  which has the lovely lyric, ‘Please be patient with your life’. Good advice.
We had a badger visiting last night - bad news for the hedgehogs.
