Off the Beaten Path

Taking the long way round driving  north to join C's siblings for a family "reunion" on a barrier island in South Carolina. I took a snapshot of a weather beaten and wind bent tree that caught my eye. We stopped at a motel for the night so I decided that Silly Saturday would be an excuse for some serious insomniart fartnarkling. I took a pic of the viewscreen on Sport my backpocket  camera using Ansel my smartphone (see extra) then went to town in Snapseed. 

We'll finish the drive and meet up with the others this afternoon. I expect that I'll end up doing a lot of back-blipping if the weather cooperates and the opportunities for some serious camera time are as good as I hope they'll be.
