Family gathering

It’s been a very warm and sunny day. I went out first thing with my son in law and grandson to watch his ‘little kickers’ football training. Always fun to watch and to also see his development. We then went to the railway station to collect my sister. So good to see her again. She hadn’t seen our grandson for sometime and so was amused to hear him now speaking. A little while later her two daughters were collected from the station. We hadn’t seen them for several years so it lovely to all meet up.

We had a very nice lunch and then went for a walk around a local park area. By now the temperature was fairly high and we were all carrying our coats. After a wander around and a chat back at the house my sisters children were dropped back at the station. It was great to finally meet up. We had planned this for November but the train strikes stopped that and it has been difficult to find dates that suited everyone, but we succeeded l am pleased to say.
