Dandelion meadow

I walked up the hill towards teatime, and couldn't resist a detour into the bluebell wood which doubled the duration, though not the length, of the walk. Much of the time the sky was overcast and the light flat and rather grey, but as I returned downhill the clouds around the sun cleared and the carpet of dandelions in the meadows alongside the lane shone gloriously golden.
