Solo

Katie is getting new solos, ahead of her first competition in seven years this autumn. She's having a contemporary and a ballet to start. She's beside herself with excitement and it's filling her self confidence bucket. This is her contemporary, to Hallelujah. It's perfectly her and it's going to be stunning when she's got it worked on. She's decided she is confident enough in it to perform it in the school dance showcase and was adamant she wanted to be included as a solo dancer. She is determined that school will take her seriously as a dancer as well as a musician. And they are. They're working so hard to accommodate her rehearsals and classes, they're championing her and proud of her and fighting to facilitate all she needs. 

This dance is going to be beautiful.
