Arrived in early got through visa and customs relatively quickly. Taxi to the hotel which is very central and near the station for tomorrow. A few hours of sleep before heading out for a wander. Went to the national monument park, unfortunately the monument was closed. Picked up the train tickets before a taxi to the historic town area. Lots of people on bikes around the square. A beer in the Betavia cafe before heading back to the hotel. While waiting for the taxi had to rescue a tiny kitten which was wandering into the road. 
A lovely meal with views a few blocks along from the hotel.
