Magical woods

After yesterdays walk along the seaside, we went inland and walked in the bluebell woods. The bright May green and dark purple blue of the bluebells were a feast for the eyes. The trees were covered in moss, our boots in mud. Many of the really big beeches fallen in a previous storm, but giving new life to the forest.
The sculpture trail had an old hollow tree trunk turned into Gandalf walking through the woods. Too many images to choose from but this majestic tree summed most of it up.
