Sleeping in the shade,
Dreaming of sticks unthrown,
And rabbits unchased.

After sleeping in the full sun, she got up stiffly and moved herself to the, now shaded, doorstep. perfect for snoozing and keeping an eye of comings and goings, in case anyone might want to play .....


My day was less peaceful; playing roadie to the band and ferrying stuff hither and yon.... and back again. Then trying to reclaim the rest of the vegetable garden from the weeds....
