Summer Atmosphere

The second day in the country.
Sunny and warm, except quite cold breeze, about +20.

Some errands in the center again, and then to mother until the evening. In main picture you see a great way to gather irrigation water for flowers. In the place we have had our country home soon for a year, some neighbours in the yard circle have put a bucket under a downspout carrying rainwater from a rain gutter. Like in old times, good, natural water for plants.

In Extra there are common brinstones (Gonepteryx rhamni) that flew into the upper corners of our new glass terrace. At best there were four of them at a time. This has been the situation all the time now, for three days. You see the small net in the picture, I suppose it's for insects. The butterflies aren't stuck in the net, everyone except one has flew away too, they get in and out through the open glasses all the time. I've seen a lot of these butterflies everywhere in here, they are the first generation that has overwintered here in Finland. Next generation begins to fly in July. So, I was wondering if this old generation is dying after having done their job of reproducing and search places like our terrace to die. Their life cycles are ending.
